This is the first unit of the CISI Masters in Wealth Management and lays the foundation for the subsequent two units. It is a professional level exam requiring candidates to think critically in the context of the analysis, interpretation and comparison of company information, making recommendations on fixed income and real investments, equity and much more.

This unit focuses on the environment in which wealth management operates. The unit is broken down into the following syllabus areas:

  • Economics and interpretation of economic statistics
  • Introduction to financial statements
  • Investment mathematics
  • Investment analysis
